Bellarine mobile phone reception survey

Many local residents have contacted me about poor mobile phone reception in parts of the Bellarine, including around St Leonards, Indented Head and Curlewis.

There’s no doubt that in many areas reception is bad, and sometimes non-existent. I’ve experienced this myself when travelling about the Bellarine.

I know that for people living in ‘black spots’ it’s not just frustrating, it’s a real safety issue.

Rather than simply forwarding individual complaints to the relevant telcos, I’m compiling detailed data on the nature and geographic spread of reception issues.  With that information I will be able to make stronger representations for improved mobile coverage.

So, I’m asking Bellarine residents - particularly those in St Leonards, Indented Head and Curlewis - to fill out my short survey opposite.

Please work with me to ensure that all of the Bellarine is better connected.
