Virtual Town Hall MeetingsNews | Featured Story
While we remain unable to gather in person, it’s important our communities remain connected. This month, I will be holding a series of virtual town halls.
These town halls will provide the opportunity to discuss how COVID-19 is impacting our communities on a local level. It will also give me a chance to hear directly from you, and answer your questions.
I hope you will be able to participate.
Early Childhood Education Town Hall
Labor’s Shadow Minister for Early Childhood Education and Development Amanda Rishworth will join me for a town hall on early childhood education and the challenges caused by the Federal Government’s new funding package for some parents. If you are a parent or grandparent of young children, I would love you to take part in our virtual meeting.
How will these virtual town halls work?
Upon registering, you will receive a Zoom link to participate in the town hall. You will simply need to click on this link just prior to the listed start time of the town hall. You can participate from the Zoom application on your computer, phone or iPad, as well as your web browser.
Will you be holding more virtual town halls in the future?
We are planning on holding more meetings with other communities in the Corangamite electorate, but we’re trying it out with a few groups to begin with.
Will I be able to ask a question?
Yes! Questions will be welcomed in all of the virtual town halls.
Who should I contact for more information?
If you have a question about these virtual town halls and how they work, please email our office on Libby.Coker.MP@aph.gov.au.
